About this fabric

The swatch reads as tobacco brown with a muted golden warmth rather than a cool chocolate or greyed brown. Its surface is visually even and smooth, with gentle tonal variation that gives the plain colour depth as the light moves across it. No pattern is visible, allowing the richness of the shade and its subtly tactile finish to take centre stage. The apparent density and composed finish make it a natural choice for upholstery.

How to use it

Use Smooth Tobacco on a reading chair, sofa or dining seat where its warm brown depth can anchor cream, tan and aged-brass accents. Pair it with lighter natural textures to keep the rich colour from feeling heavy.
