Teddy Kingfisher

Teddy Fabric

Teddy Kingfisher is a deep, cool teal upholstery fabric with a densely textured surface. Its blue-green shade appears dark and atmospheric, while the short texture creates gentle tonal variation across the swatch.

About this fabric

The swatch is a rich kingfisher teal, reading distinctly blue-green rather than bright aqua or warm green. Its dense, short, teddy-like texture contains fine irregular flecks and subtle horizontal movement across the cloth. This close surface softly catches the light, preventing the dark shade from appearing flat. With no separate motif visible, the colour and tactile weave provide the entire design character.

How to use it

Pair this moody blue-green with pale timber, warm neutrals or brushed metal to balance its depth. It is especially effective on statement seating where the short, tactile texture can be seen at close range.

Use this deep, cool teal to bring moody colour and tactile depth to contemporary seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
