Teddy Fabric

Teddy Jet Black is a near-black textile with a dense, softly nubby surface that gives the swatch visible depth. Its fine tonal variation keeps the shade from appearing completely flat.

About this fabric

Teddy Jet Black is a very dark, cool-leaning black with a close-grained texture visible across the swatch. Tiny variations in the surface soften the solid colour, while the low-contrast finish absorbs most of the light rather than appearing glossy. The result is a restrained, tactile black that feels substantial and quietly tailored. No composition, width or performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use the deep jet-black tone on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its softly textured surface can add depth without introducing a visible pattern. Pair it with pale stone, warm timber or brushed metal to bring definition to the dark upholstery.

Use this deep black, nubby textile to give sofas, armchairs or dining seats a grounded, quietly tailored finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
