Teddy Gris

Teddy Fabric

Teddy Gris is a cool grey upholstery textile with a restrained green cast and a closely nubby surface. Its fine, irregular texture gives the otherwise quiet colour gentle visual depth.

About this fabric

The swatch shows a dense, low-relief weave in grey, softened by small moss-green and charcoal flecks rather than a flat, uniform tone. Light catches the tiny raised fibres unevenly, creating a softly mottled finish with a dry, tactile character. The close texture and substantial appearance make it best suited to upholstery applications. No composition, width or rub-test information has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Pair Teddy Gris with pale timber, chalky neutrals and muted sage accents to draw out its cool green undertone. Its softly mottled grey also works well on a contemporary sofa or occasional chair where a quiet texture is more important than a bold pattern.

Use this cool, softly greened grey to bring tactile depth to contemporary upholstery and quiet layered schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
