Bourne Ocean

Casual Fabric

Bourne Ocean brings a cool, coastal note through irregular vertical stripes in muted ocean blue and soft ivory. The closely spaced lines create a calm rhythm, while the visible surface texture keeps the colourway from feeling flat.

About this fabric

The design alternates slender and broader vertical bands, with softly uneven edges that give the stripe a relaxed, hand-finished character. Its ocean blue is deep but subdued, reading cooler and more atmospheric than a bright marine shade against the warm ivory ground. Fine horizontal texture is visible across the swatch, adding gentle tonal variation where the light catches the cloth. No performance features or further specification data are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair Bourne Ocean with chalky whites, pale timber and weathered blue-grey accents for an airy coastal scheme. The muted contrast also suits relaxed seating or curtains where the vertical stripe can add quiet height.

Use the cool ocean-blue and ivory stripes to bring relaxed rhythm to upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
