Crosshatch Check Atlantic

Timeless Textures Fabric

Crosshatch Check Atlantic brings a cool, muted blue-grey tone to a tactile woven check. The close-set pattern combines ribbed blocks with dark linear divisions for a quietly graphic surface.

About this fabric

The fabric is visibly structured by alternating rectangular sections, with horizontal and vertical ribbing creating a varied, handwoven-looking texture. Its Atlantic colourway reads as a softened blue-grey, with charcoal-brown lines adding depth rather than sharp contrast. The subtle variation in the threads keeps the check from appearing flat, while the regular grid gives it a smart, tailored character. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the cool blue-grey tone on an upholstered chair, ottoman or sofa where its charcoal grid can anchor a room of pale stone, grey and natural timber. Keep surrounding fabrics relatively plain so the alternating rib directions remain visible.

Use this cool blue-grey check on a statement armchair or sofa, pairing it with charcoal, stone and weathered timber.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Crosshatch Check Atlantic without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
