Stripweave Cumin

Timeless Pattern Fabric

Stripweave Cumin combines horizontal strié texture with a neatly arranged grid of offset rectangular blocks. Its earthy cumin-brown colouring reads as muted and grounded, with the uneven yarn surface adding depth across the swatch.

About this fabric

The design is built from medium-scale rectangular sections, each filled with closely spaced horizontal lines that create a subtly variegated woven surface. In this Cumin colourway, warm brown and softly contrasting lighter threads give the pattern a restrained, mineral quality rather than a bright or saturated appearance. The structured layout and visibly substantial weave make it well suited to upholstery. No composition, width, usage or rub-test specification has been supplied for this listing.

How to use it

Use Stripweave Cumin on a tailored armchair, dining seat or compact sofa where its warm brown depth can anchor a room. Pair it with oat, stone and natural timber tones to keep the linear pattern calm and considered.

Use the warm cumin-brown tone to bring depth to tailored upholstery and balance it with quiet natural neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
