Patina Storm

Timeless Plains Fabric

Patina Storm is a quiet, cool grey plain whose fine cross-weave gives the surface more depth than a flat solid. In the swatch, its soft silver tone stays restrained and even across the cloth.

About this fabric

Patina Storm reads as a cool, mid-grey with a slight silver cast, rather than a warm greige. At close range, the surface shows a very fine, even cross-weave: tiny horizontal and vertical threads create a restrained grid and a gently grainy face. The close, regular weave gives the plain colour subtle depth as light moves across it, without introducing a printed motif. No composition, width or rub-test specification is supplied for this listing.

How to use it

Use this cool silver-grey as a calm neutral on upholstery or drapery, particularly where a flat grey would feel too plain. Its restrained grid texture can sit comfortably beside smooth finishes while retaining a softly tactile presence.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
