M672 Midnight

Veranda Ii Fabric

M672 Midnight is a near-black charcoal textile with a quiet, finely crosshatched weave. Its deep tone absorbs most of the light, while the close interlacing adds subtle surface movement.

About this fabric

The fabric reads as a cool midnight charcoal rather than a flat solid black, with tiny lighter threads visible across the woven ground. A compact horizontal-and-vertical weave creates a lightly pebbled, linen-like texture that can be seen clearly in the swatch. Its dark, even colouring gives the surface a smart and composed appearance. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use M672 Midnight on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its charcoal depth will create a strong architectural outline. Balance the near-black tone with ivory, chalky neutrals or warm brass so the fine weave remains visible.

Use this deep charcoal weave to give upholstery a grounded, tailored finish, pairing it with warm timber or pale stone for contrast.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
