Babouches Antique combines an antique taupe ground with an eclectic arrangement of illustrated babouches, or slipper motifs. Dusty coral, ochre, teal, blue and cream details bring measured colour to the quietly tonal background.

About this fabric

The wallpaper shows elongated, finely detailed babouches floating across a muted taupe field, with each slipper carrying its own arrangement of coral, ochre, teal, blue and cream ornament. Behind them, a low-contrast scrolling motif adds depth without competing with the more colourful footwear illustrations. Made from 100% Non Woven, this design is 70 cm wide with a 90 cm vertical pattern repeat. It is spongeable for practical day-to-day care.

How to use it

Use the warm antique taupe as the room’s base note, then pick up the dusty coral or aged teal in painted joinery, cushions or a small upholstered accent. The lively slipper arrangement suits a study, dressing room or characterful bedroom where the pattern can be enjoyed at close range.

A softly aged taupe ground lets the richly coloured babouche motifs become an elegant decorative focal point.
