About this fabric

The dense woven face is predominantly dark purple, with cooler indigo passages and irregular bronze-brown flecks that interrupt the horizontal rhythm. Short, broken bands and small raised-looking areas create a softly rugged surface rather than a flat printed effect. The low-key palette reads especially deep in shadow, while the brown threads catch the light with a subtle warm glint. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Bring its aubergine depth into an occasional chair, stool or headboard, then lift the scheme with burnished brass, walnut and restrained warm neutrals. The bronze-brown detailing also works well against charcoal or smoky plum walls.

Use this dark aubergine-and-bronze weave on occasional chairs, footstools or a statement headboard, pairing it with warm timber and aged brass.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
