About this fabric

The design is a medium-scale checked weave, with broad indigo and brown blocks crossed by olive green bands and finer burgundy, pink and pale taupe lines. The close-up shows a tactile, structured surface in which the interlacing yarns create small houndstooth-like effects within parts of the plaid. The indigo reads deepest in the larger solid checks, while the lighter threads catch the light and soften the darker palette. No composition, width, rub test or performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Brunel - Indigo to upholster a traditional armchair, bench or footstool, then draw out its olive and dusty pink threads with plain cushions or painted joinery. The cool navy depth also works well with warm timber and dark brown leather.

Use this cool indigo plaid on occasional chairs, footstools or sofas alongside olive, brown and burgundy accents.
