Jersey Indigo

Clubhouse Fabric

Jersey Indigo brings a cool, deep blue ground to a tightly textured woven surface. Fine pale, almost chalky zigzags flicker across the cloth, while uneven horizontal passages give the swatch a gently layered rhythm.

About this fabric

Jersey Indigo is a dense-looking blue textile with a cool, inky ground and closely packed pale marks. The marks form tiny broken chevrons and loop-like vertical traces, while horizontal shifts in the weave create soft bands rather than a single flat colour. In this colourway, the white-blue contrast gives the surface a crisp, slightly weathered depth; lighter threads catch across the indigo when viewed as a whole. The supplied record lists it simply as Fabric, with no additional performance features noted, so its visibly substantial woven appearance makes it best suited to upholstery.

How to use it

Use Jersey Indigo on an upholstered chair or bench where its dark blue depth can read as a calm block of colour from a distance, then reveal the pale broken marks up close. Warm timber and chalky neutrals would balance its cool, high-contrast weave.

Cool indigo depth and pale woven marks bring graphic texture to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
