About this fabric

The dominant scarlet ground gives this colourway a rich, energetic presence, while the dark horizontal and vertical bands add depth and definition. Narrow cream, ochre and blue-green lines run through the larger checks, creating the layered structure characteristic of a traditional tartan. The close, even weave is clearly visible in the swatch image, with the colour remaining strong rather than muted. No performance features are noted for this fabric.
