About this fabric

The medium-scale check is built from broad dark navy and green blocks, with narrow burgundy lines adding definition without brightening the overall depth. The surface appears tightly woven, with a restrained texture that keeps the intersecting lines crisp and controlled. This dark colourway is best suited to upholstery, where its structured plaid can give a chair, bench or sofa a strong tailored presence. No composition, width, rub test or other technical specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair the cool navy-green ground with tobacco leather, dark timber and aged brass for a traditional scheme, or use it against chalky neutrals to let the burgundy lines provide a restrained accent.

Use this deep, cool-toned tartan to bring tailored contrast to upholstery, especially alongside natural wood, leather or warm neutral walls.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
