About this fabric

The image shows a plain textile built from fine horizontal and vertical threads, creating a restrained crosshatch rather than a printed motif. The purple tone sits close to charcoal in the deeper areas, while the weave catches the light with faint plum highlights. This medium-looking woven surface can work across upholstery and drapery applications. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Dune Iris to upholster a compact armchair or sofa when a room needs a cool, ink-dark accent, or introduce it through full-length curtains for a softly enveloping effect. Pair its aubergine depth with aged brass, pale stone and warm timber to prevent the colour reading flat.

A deep, cool aubergine weave that brings quiet richness to upholstery, curtains and tailored schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
