Emin Fabric

Emin Calico is a softly coloured Romo fabric in a warm, pale beige that reads as calm and lightly sun-washed. Its close weave has a restrained crosshatch effect, giving the plain surface gentle visual depth.

About this fabric

The surface combines fine vertical and horizontal threads, creating a delicate woven texture rather than a printed pattern. Its light biscuit-beige tone is warm without becoming yellow, while the subtly uneven threads keep the colour from looking flat. The fabric has a versatile mid-weight appearance suited to upholstery and drapery. No composition, width, rub-test or additional performance specification is supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Pair Emin Calico with chalky whites, natural timber and muted taupes for a quiet, warm scheme. Its pale beige ground also works as a softly textured counterpoint to deeper brown or olive accents.

Use this warm pale beige weave to soften both upholstered pieces and softly tailored window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
