About this fabric
The swatch shows a near-solid buff ground with a delicate vertical striation running through the weave. Fine intersecting threads create a lightly tactile surface, while the pale beige tone remains warm and muted rather than yellow or strongly saturated. Subtle tonal variation catches the light across the cloth, giving this quiet colourway more depth than a completely flat plain. With its balanced appearance and non-directional surface, it can work across both upholstery and drapery applications.
How to use it
Pair Emin Buff with chalky whites, warm stone and pale oak for a calm, tonal room. Its softly warm buff cast also sits comfortably alongside natural linens, woven baskets and understated timber furniture.
Use this softly textured buff weave to bring gentle warmth and quiet depth to upholstery or drapery.

Pairs well with
Emin Buff is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
