Floris Fabric

Floris Peacock by Romo places airy white blossom sprays across a pale stone-grey ground, with lively peacock-blue touches scattered through the branches. The lightly textured surface keeps the floral drawing feeling fresh rather than formal.

About this fabric

The visible ground has a fine, even woven texture in a soft stone-grey tone, giving the pattern a calm, cool base. Slender charcoal-grey branches carry loose clusters of white blossoms, muted green leaves and small turquoise-to-peacock-blue marks. The blue accents add concentrated depth without overwhelming the open background, so the colourway reads brighter and cooler than a traditional botanical floral. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Use Floris Peacock on a relaxed occasional chair, Roman blind or curtains where its cool blue notes can sit with white upholstery, pale grey walls and muted green accessories. Repeat the deeper blue sparingly to draw out the small coloured details in the blossom sprays.

Use the cool peacock-blue accents to bring definition to the pale stone-grey ground, pairing easily with white, blue-grey and muted green.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
