About this fabric

The close-up shows an even field with no visible printed motif, while fine tonal variation gives the surface a gently mottled, tactile look. Monsoon sits between blue and grey, reading cooler and deeper than a conventional mid-blue. The dense-looking surface appears equally at home on upholstered forms or as a restrained textile backdrop at the window. No performance features or further specification data are noted for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Monsoon to upholster a contemporary chair or sofa where its cool slate tone can anchor softer greys, chalky whites and pale timber. It also works as understated curtain or blind fabric when a room needs blue depth without a strong pattern.

A cool, quietly textured slate blue that brings depth to upholstery, curtains or blinds without introducing a pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
