About this fabric

Catalogued as a fabric, Carioca Copper is visibly formed from closely packed, irregular vertical bands rather than broad, uniform stripes. Copper and rust threads provide the warmth, while teal and pale blue accents introduce a cooler counterpoint through the design. Cream and charcoal-grey lines temper the contrast and give the overall colourway a balanced, softly variegated appearance. The fine ribbed surface catches the light subtly, emphasising the narrow linear rhythm.

How to use it

Use Carioca Copper to add warmth to a room with blue, teal or grey furnishings, either on tailored seating or as striped curtains. Its copper ground works especially well with natural wood and muted cream upholstery.

A finely striped woven textile that brings warm copper and cool teal contrast to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
