Habanera Fabric

Habanera Danube brings a cool, graphic rhythm to the Habanera collection, with vertical bands of teal, blue, grey and pale neutral. Its repeating chevron pattern gives the swatch clear movement while the woven surface keeps the colourway tactile and dimensional.

About this fabric

The design is formed from tightly repeated zigzag chevrons running vertically through alternating bands, rather than a single continuous stripe. Deep teal and saturated blue provide the strongest accents, set against charcoal, mid-grey and pale stone tones that soften the overall contrast. The close-up shows a visibly textured woven face, with the irregular yarn surface gently breaking up the geometric pattern. This colourway reads as cool, energetic and structured, making the bold motif the main visual feature.

How to use it

Use Habanera Danube on a statement upholstered chair, bench or occasional seat where its vertical chevrons can be seen clearly. Balance the cool teal, blue and grey mix with chalky walls, charcoal details and warm wood to prevent the scheme feeling stark.

Pair the cool teal and blue chevrons with pale greys, charcoal or natural timber for a crisp, graphic interior.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
