Elcot Postbox

Kitley Fabric

Elcot Postbox has a softly muted terracotta-red tone, giving the Kitley design a warm, grounded presence. Its closely woven surface forms a fine vertical chevron that reads as texture rather than a bold graphic.

About this fabric

The swatch combines a brick-leaning terracotta ground with lighter red and blush-coloured threads, creating subtle tonal depth across the cloth. Fine diagonal lines meet in repeated chevrons, producing a narrow vertical rhythm that remains understated at a distance. The woven texture catches the light gently, giving the red colour a softly varied, tactile appearance.

How to use it

Use Elcot Postbox to warm a neutral room with tailored upholstery, or introduce its muted terracotta-red tone through curtains and cushions alongside cream, tobacco and natural timber.

The fine terracotta chevron weave brings understated movement to upholstery, cushions or relaxed curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Elcot Postbox without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
