About this fabric

The muted grey background has a softly warm, taupe-leaning cast rather than a stark blue-grey appearance. Ivory leaves and slender branching stems form an airy, medium-scale botanical pattern, with visibly varied brush-like edges that keep the design organic. A fine horizontal weave runs through the ground, catching the light gently and giving the otherwise restrained colourway added depth. The balanced structure and apparent mid-weight character make it suitable for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use the soft chinchilla ground to calm a light, neutral sitting room, pairing it with ivory upholstery details and pale timber. On curtains, the ivory foliage will read as a gentle tonal contrast against warm white walls.

A softly tailored grey-and-ivory botanical that brings quiet pattern and texture to upholstery or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sefina Chinchilla without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
