Oxley Danube

Oxley Fabric

Oxley Danube is a cool-toned woven plaid, combining saturated teal-blue blocks with cream, slate and soft grey checks. Its intersecting stripes create a clear graphic rhythm while the visible weave keeps the surface tactile rather than flat.

About this fabric

The plaid is built from varied vertical and horizontal bands, with deep teal-blue squares set against pale cream, denim blue, charcoal and muted grey. Fine overlaid lines and slightly irregular woven edges give the checks depth, while the darker bands add definition across the cloth. The overall colourway reads fresh and architectural, with the cream threads softening the stronger blue and teal accents. No further composition, width or performance specification is supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Oxley Danube on a tailored armchair, ottoman or bench where its teal-blue checks can act as the room’s graphic focal point. It would also bring a crisp, cool layer to curtains or cushions alongside cream upholstery, slate accents and natural wood.

A cool, graphic plaid that brings layered teal, blue, cream and grey tones to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
