Mimi Velvet 60cm X 40cm Cushion Kohl

Temperleylondonxromofabrics Velvet

Mimi Velvet in Kohl brings an irregular leopard pattern into a warm, grounded palette of stone beige, charcoal and near-black. The velvet surface gives the cushion a softly textured appearance, with the nap subtly changing across the face.

About this fabric

The Kohl colourway is built on a warm stone-beige ground, overlaid with varied charcoal and near-black leopard markings. The spots are uneven in size and shape, ranging from small broken flecks at the edges to larger open rosettes through the centre. As a velvet, the surface shows a fine directional nap that creates gentle tonal shifts through the beige background and dark pattern. Shown here as the 60cm x 40cm cushion named in the product title, it has a tailored rectangular form with a dark piping detail around the edge.

How to use it

Use Kohl as a statement cushion on a deep brown, taupe or charcoal sofa, where its warm beige ground can soften the darker spots. It also suits a layered scheme of natural linens and dark wood, adding pattern without introducing a bright accent colour.

A characterful velvet for upholstered seating or an accent cushion, pairing a warm stone ground with expressive charcoal spotting.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
