Lionel Ginger

Esala FabricSCF0105-03

Lionel Ginger places warm ginger feline silhouettes across a softly pale mint ground. Spotted big cats, prowling forms and upright seated figures create a lively, hand-drawn rhythm across the cloth.

About this fabric

The cool, lightly muted mint background gives this colourway an airy base, while the ginger motifs add earthy warmth without becoming strongly orange or saturated. Each animal is picked out with a dotted, textured-looking surface, making the spotted cats and seated figures especially distinctive at close range. Lionel Ginger is 140.2 cm wide and weighs 220 gsm, giving it a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The design has a 42.5 cm vertical repeat and a 92.8 cm horizontal repeat, with 44 threads per cm.

How to use it

Use Lionel Ginger on a reading-room chair, footstool or scatter cushions where the ginger cats can sit against the pale mint ground. Pair it with warm timber, natural woven textures and restrained cream upholstery to keep the playful pattern feeling considered.

Use the pale mint and warm ginger palette to bring a playful, collected feel to upholstery, cushions or relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
