Mawton Chalk/Ivory

Chiswick Grove Wallpapers WallpaperSAW0090-03

Mawton Chalk/Ivory presents a softly tonal geometric trellis in chalk and ivory, with interlocking lines framing a delicate scrolling centre. Its low-contrast colouring keeps the pattern light and quietly architectural.

About this fabric

The design combines angular linked sections with rounded, curling motifs, all picked out in a gentle ivory against a slightly deeper chalk ground. The pale contrast allows the pattern to be read at close range without creating a strong visual block across the wall. This wallpaper has a 52 cm usable width, a 52 cm vertical repeat and a standard length of 10.05 m. Supplied at 160 gsm, it has a softly matte appearance in the swatch, with the light chalk ground giving the surface subtle depth.

How to use it

Pair this cool, restrained chalk-and-ivory colourway with warm white paint, pale oak and softly aged brass. It works particularly well behind a console, around a dressing area or as a calm backdrop in a sitting room where the geometric outline can remain visible without dominating.

Use this pale chalk-and-ivory ground where the trellis can add structure without darkening the scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
