Chiswick Grove Wallpapers WallpaperSAW0093-01

Thackeray Fig is a softly faded botanical wallpaper in pale ivory and warm taupe. Its closely arranged flowers, leaves and curling foliage create a quietly ornamental surface rather than a bold, high-contrast statement.

About this fabric

The ivory ground keeps this colourway light, while the taupe motifs shift gently from misty beige to slightly deeper grey-brown across the floral and foliate details. Large stylised blooms sit among curling leaves, seed-like shapes and fine internal linework, giving the pattern a softly aged damask character. The wallpaper has a 52 cm usable width and a 52 cm vertical pattern repeat, making the rhythm of the design clearly decorative across the roll. It is supplied in a standard 10.05 m length, with a listed weight of 158 gsm.

How to use it

Use Thackeray Fig across a bedroom, dressing room or traditionally styled sitting room where its warm ivory ground can soften painted joinery and its taupe detail can connect with stone, linen and aged wood.

Use this pale ivory and soft taupe botanical wallpaper to bring gentle, decorative depth to a classic room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
