Thackeray Ivory

Chiswick Grove Wallpapers WallpaperSAW0093-03

Thackeray Ivory presents an airy damask of curling leaves, layered blooms and scrolling botanical forms over a warm ivory ground. Its very pale grey-green ornament keeps the overall impression light, softly tonal and refined.

About this fabric

The design is built from overlapping floral and foliate motifs, including broad leaves, curled stems and rounded blooms that emerge gently from the ivory background. The restrained grey-green tone gives the pattern a subtle, powdery depth rather than a high-contrast statement, while the pale ground keeps smaller details visible without making the wall feel busy. This wallpaper has a 52 cm usable width, a standard length of 10.05 m and a 52 cm vertical pattern repeat. The supplied specification lists its weight as 158 gsm.

How to use it

Use Thackeray Ivory across a bedroom, sitting room or hallway where its warm ivory base can brighten the walls while the muted grey-green foliage adds quiet traditional character. Pair it with chalky painted wood, light oak and soft linen tones to preserve its gentle, low-contrast mood.

A softly detailed ivory ground with pale grey-green damask foliage for calm, traditional walls.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
