About this colour

This shade reads as a warm, softened grey with enough depth to hold its shape without feeling dark, and the #C0B7B0 value gives it a calm, slightly earthy finish. In north-facing rooms it can look cooler and more shadowed, bringing out its greige side, while south-facing light warms it and makes the beige undertone more visible. On walls, it reflects light modestly rather than bouncing it around, so it feels settled and tailored rather than bright. In Active Emulsion and Waterbased Eggshell, it works well where you want a composed colour on both plastered walls and painted joinery. It sits comfortably beside oak, walnut, aged brass, cream upholstery and muted linens.

How to use it

A pot comes off the same order as the fabric, so the wall and the chair in front of it are chosen together. The making is ours: cut, sewn and fitted in our own Heybridge workshop, with Simon over every stage.
