About this colour

This shade sits in a warm yellow family, with enough cream in it to keep the colour feeling approachable rather than sharp. The hex value #F8E177 shows a light, high-reflective yellow that lifts a room well and keeps walls feeling sunny. In a north-facing room it will soften and look more muted, with a gentle golden cast; in south-facing light it becomes brighter and more citrus-led, while still staying calm. It works well beside painted woodwork in off-white, pale stone, or muted greens, and it can also sit comfortably with warm timber and patterned upholstery. In Sanderson’s Active Emulsion or Waterbased Eggshell, it is a practical choice for walls and joinery where you want colour that feels lively but not harsh.

How to use it

Grandiflora suits kitchens, breakfast rooms, and cheerful sitting rooms, especially where you want the walls to support patterned curtains or traditional upholstery. It pairs neatly with cream woodwork, honey oak, and greens that lean sage rather than olive.

Grandiflora brings a warm, lifted yellow that reads cleanly on the wall.

Order it with the cloth

A pot comes off the same order as the fabric, so the wall and the chair in front of it are chosen together. The making is ours: cut, sewn and fitted in our own Heybridge workshop, with Simon over every stage.

Pairs well with

Grandiflora is a wall colour, so these are the cloths that sit against it: one of them on the curtains, the paint behind. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
