About this colour

This shade reads as a cool mid-tone grey with a clear blue cast, so it feels calm and slightly reserved on the wall. It reflects a moderate amount of light, which keeps it from feeling heavy, but the grey base still gives it enough body to hold its own beside timber and upholstered pieces. In north-facing light it can look more steely and shadowed, with the blue undertone becoming more noticeable. In south-facing light it softens and brightens a little, showing a cleaner grey-blue balance. It sits well beside pale oak, walnut, chalky whites and muted blues, as well as natural linen and woven upholstery tones.

How to use it
