About this colour

This shade reads as a very pale, softly warmed white with a slight grey undertone, so it feels calm rather than bright. On a wall it lifts light gently and keeps its own colour close to the surface, which makes it useful where you want a room to feel open but not clinical. In north-facing light it can look a touch cooler and more subdued, with the grey note becoming clearer. In south-facing rooms it warms up and feels lighter and creamier, sitting well beside pale oak, painted joinery, oatmeal linen, and darker upholstered pieces that need a quiet backdrop. In Active Emulsion or Waterbased Eggshell, it works neatly on walls and woodwork where you want the same soft tone throughout.

How to use it

Use Snowy Owl in sitting rooms, bedrooms, and hallways where you want a neutral backdrop for curtains in stone, flax, or muted pattern. It suits painted skirting, doors, and cabinetry, and pairs well with natural timber and upholstered furniture in charcoal, taupe, or faded sage.
