About this colour

This shade reads as a pale taupe-grey with a gentle beige undertone, so it feels warm rather than crisp. It lifts light softly rather than bouncing it, which keeps walls looking settled and understated. In north-facing rooms it can turn a little cooler and more stone-like, while in south-facing light the warmth comes forward and the colour looks softer and more creamy. In Active Emulsion or Waterbased Eggshell, it suits trim and joinery as well as walls, especially beside natural oak, painted woodwork in off-white, or upholstery in muted greens, biscuit tones, and charcoal.
