About this colour

This shade reads as a cool-leaning grey-green with a soft brown undertone, so it neither looks sharp nor flat on the wall. It absorbs a fair amount of light, which gives rooms a more settled, enclosed feel without making the colour feel heavy. In north-facing light it can turn more plainly grey and slightly cooler, while in south-facing light the green note comes forward and the brown undertone softens the edge. Active Emulsion and Waterbased Eggshell both suit the colour well, especially where you want the walls or woodwork to sit calmly beside natural oak, darker walnut, linen upholstery, or restrained patterned curtains.

How to use it

Use it in living rooms, studies, or hallways where you want a colour with depth but no fuss. It works well on woodwork beside warm neutrals, olive and moss upholstery, and classic timber furniture.

A calm grey-green that settles into the wall and stays understated.
