About this colour

This #EADCBF tone reads as a creamy parchment with enough warmth to feel inviting, but not so much yellow that it turns heavy. It reflects light gently rather than bouncing it around, so it helps brighten a space while still keeping a calm, grounded look. In a north-facing room it can appear a touch deeper and more biscuit-toned, which suits it well if you want the room to feel less cold. In south-facing light the colour opens out and looks softer and more luminous, with its pale beige side showing most clearly. It works well beside natural oak, painted joinery in deeper stone or clay shades, and upholstery in oatmeal, linen, or muted sage.
