About this colour

This shade reads as a muted mid-green with a soft earthy base, so it feels grounded rather than bright. The hex value #808D73 gives it a gentle grey-green balance that lifts a little in good light but still holds depth. In a north-facing room it can turn cooler and more shadowed, bringing out the grey in the colour. In south-facing light it feels warmer, greener and slightly fuller, especially in the Waterbased Eggshell finish on woodwork. It sits well beside aged oak, walnut, off-white paint and textured natural upholstery in flax, stone or tobacco tones.
