About this colour

This shade reads as a cool, softened blue-grey rather than a clear sky blue, with the hex value #D7E5E6 keeping it pale and lifted. On a wall it reflects plenty of light, so it can make a room feel open without turning sharp or icy. In a north-facing room it will look cooler and a little more muted, with the grey note coming forward. In south-facing light it feels fresher and more luminous, and the blue becomes clearer beside white trim, natural oak, pale linen, and muted upholstery tones. In Active Emulsion it suits walls, while Waterbased Eggshell gives the same colour a neater finish for joinery and painted furniture.
