About this colour

This shade reads cool and light, with a faint blue cast that keeps it looking fresh rather than sugary. On a wall it lifts daylight well without turning stark, so it feels especially open in a smaller room. In a north-facing room the blue note becomes a little clearer and the colour can look more misty and grey-lilac; in south light it softens and shows more of its gentle warmth. The finish in Active Emulsion or Waterbased Eggshell gives it a smooth, even presence on walls or woodwork, and it sits neatly beside pale oak, painted trims, walnut, crisp white, and upholstery in dove grey, oat, or muted indigo.

How to use it

It suits bedrooms, dressing rooms, and quiet sitting rooms where a pared-back colour is wanted. Use it with white or off-white woodwork for a clean edge, or pair it with natural timber and linen-toned upholstery for a softer scheme.
