About this colour

This shade reads cool and pale, with enough green in it to stop it feeling icy and enough blue to keep it calm. On a wall it lifts light well, giving a room a clearer, airier look without going bright or sharp. In north-facing light it can turn a little greyer and more reserved, while in south-facing rooms the green side comes forward and the colour feels fresher and cleaner. It works well in Active Emulsion on walls and in Waterbased Eggshell on woodwork, especially beside natural oak, painted joinery, and upholstery in stone, oatmeal, deep navy, or soft terracotta.

How to use it

Use it in bedrooms, sitting rooms, or a study where you want colour that stays gentle. It sits neatly with painted skirting, panelled doors, and relaxed upholstery in linen, velvet, or wool in muted neutrals or darker blues.
