At #D1BB8C, Wheat reads as a soft golden beige with a muted, earthy quality. It lifts more than a deep taupe would, but it still absorbs enough light to feel settled rather than bright. In north-facing rooms it can turn slightly cooler and more restrained, showing its beige side first; in south-facing light the warmth comes forward and it looks richer and more honeyed. In Active Emulsion it will suit walls, while Waterbased Eggshell gives the same colour a practical finish for woodwork, where it sits well with natural oak, painted joinery and darker trims.
