About this fabric

The image shows a dense, short directional pile rather than a visible woven motif, giving the cloth a softly brushed appearance. Its ochre tone sits between muted gold and brown, with the raised folds catching warmer light while recessed areas appear deeper and more tobacco-toned. The substantial drape and plush surface make this colourway read as particularly suited to upholstered furniture. The tonal variation adds depth without introducing a separate pattern.

How to use it

Use Blanik Ochre on a generous armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its warm golden-brown depth can anchor a room. Pair it with walnut, aged brass and creamy neutrals to bring out the lighter highlights in the pile.

Its softly directional pile and rich ochre-brown shading make it especially effective on statement upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
