About this fabric

This colourway is built around an ebony-toned ground, punctuated by irregular taupe and grey flecks rather than a clean, uniform black. Fine contrasting marks create a small-scale, weathered pattern across the surface, while the weave gives it a softly ridged, tactile character. In the folds, the fabric reads especially deep and shadowed, with lighter threads emerging across the curved highlights. Its substantial-looking woven appearance makes it well suited to upholstery applications where a dark, textured finish is desired.

How to use it

Use Boutin Ebony on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat, balancing its charcoal depth with natural oak, brushed metal and warm stone tones. Its flecked surface can also add quiet visual texture to a predominantly neutral room.
