About this fabric
Large charcoal-black and white checks are broken up by mid-grey sections, creating a graphic pattern with strong tonal contrast. Close to the surface, the weave has a fine peppered texture that gives the grey areas added depth rather than a flat, printed appearance. As the cloth folds, the geometric blocks bend and overlap, showing how the pattern can read both structured and fluid. The cool monochrome palette gives Bridlington Charcoal a clean, confident presence without introducing any additional colour.
How to use it
Use this colourway where a room needs a strong monochrome anchor, such as a statement chair, tailored sofa or full-length curtain. Balance the charcoal and white checks with warm timber, brushed metal or softer grey upholstery nearby.
Use the crisp monochrome check to add graphic definition to upholstery, curtains or cushions.
Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bridlington Charcoal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
