Charlton Fabric

Charlton Duckegg combines a pale, cool duck-egg ground with layered floral sprays in dusty blue, cream, muted taupe and warm tan. Its visibly woven surface gives the traditional botanical pattern a softly tactile finish.

About this fabric

The design features medium-scale flowers, curling stems, leaves and rounded botanical pods, with blue blossoms standing out against the light ground. The duck-egg tone is muted rather than bright, creating a calm, slightly weathered appearance, while the tan and taupe details add gentle warmth. Fine vertical texture is visible across the cloth, softening the printed-looking outlines and giving the floral arrangement added depth. No composition, width, rub test or other performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this cool duck-egg colourway on a traditional armchair, sofa or full-length curtain, then echo its warm tan accents through oak, aged timber, woven baskets or antique brass.

Pair the cool duck-egg ground with warm natural woods, ivory upholstery and muted brass accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
