About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Crush Quartz is a practical plain from Warwick's Crush collection with a wide 290 cm width and a hard-wearing 100,000 Martindale rub test. Its surface has a softly distressed, lightly wrinkled look rather than a flat finish, which gives the taupe tone extra movement and a subtle shadow play. The colour reads cool-neutral at first glance, then warms slightly in the creases, making it feel more nuanced than a simple beige or grey. With its plain pattern repeat and generous width, it is well suited to large curtaining and tailored bedspread use.

How to use it

Use this smoky taupe to soften sharp architectural rooms or to add warmth to pale interiors without introducing a strong colour. It pairs neatly with ivory, charcoal and aged brass, especially when you want a calm, polished finish.

A versatile neutral that feels especially refined with warm woods and matte metals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
