Lambert Black

Lambert Fabric

Lambert Black is shown as a near-black, heavily textured textile with a soft, irregularly raised surface. The folds catch the light in smoky charcoal, revealing depth within the dark ground.

About this fabric

The ground reads almost black, while the raised, irregular loops lift into charcoal grey where light catches them. Its dense, woolly-looking texture creates visible depth rather than a flat solid colour, shifting from matte black to soft grey across the folds. No composition, width, rub test or performance feature has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Lambert Black on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its near-black tone can anchor a room. Pair it with pale timber, brushed metal or warm neutrals to bring out the charcoal highlights in the pile.

A dramatic near-black texture that brings depth and tactile contrast to upholstered furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
