About this fabric

The tightly patterned surface is visible as a small, even weave rather than a printed motif, giving the cloth a quietly tactile finish. Its very dark charcoal tone reads softer than a flat jet black, while the raised folds reveal restrained tonal variation. The fabric is catalogued as a textile fabric, with no additional composition, width or performance specification supplied. The dense-looking face and sculptural drape shown here make it particularly suited to upholstered pieces.

How to use it

Use Manolo Midnight on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its near-black tone can anchor a room. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass or pale textured surfaces to draw out the subtle dimension in the weave.

A deep, near-black woven texture that brings sculptural depth and understated luxury to upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
