Metro Sandstone
Metro Fabric
Metro Sandstone is a pale, warm beige woven with a finely raised zigzag pattern. The softly irregular surface catches the light across the folds, creating gentle tonal depth rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric
The close-set chevron-like texture is visible across the full swatch, with tiny raised ridges and shaded recesses giving the cloth a tactile, dimensional finish. Its sandstone tone sits between light beige and warm stone, with subtle cream highlights and taupe-grey shadows where the fabric bends. Supplied as a fabric with no additional performance specification noted, this colourway is best appreciated for its understated woven texture and softly neutral appearance.
How to use it
Pair Metro Sandstone with chalky whites, natural oak and warm taupe upholstery for a calm, tonal scheme. Its pale stone colouring also works well as relaxed curtains or textured cushions where the fine zigzag weave can be seen up close.
Use this softly textured sandstone neutral to bring quiet depth to upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains.
Pairs well with
Metro Sandstone is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
